Plant Tissue Analysis

A "Snapshot in Time"

Analyzing plant tissue samples provides valuable information about a plant's current nutrient levels. Tissue testing can diagnose problems of nutrient deficiencies even before the plant demonstrates visible symptoms. It gives an objective and quantitative report of the plant's nutrient levels, which may be different from the nutrients available, according to soil test results. Tissue testing is best used in combination with soil analysis.

Benefits of Plant Tissue Testing

  • Monitor essential plant nutrients to effectively manage fertilizer applications
  • Evaluate problem areas to evaluate and correct plant problems
  • Plant Tissue analysis can alert you to:
  • o Plant Phosphorus uptake
    o Nitrogen requirements
o Secondary nutrient and micro-nutrient deficiencies
o Very high or toxic levels of micro-nutrients
o Nutrient balance in the soil
