The AgSource Food and Environmental Laboratory is your full-service, independent milk testing laboratory with two locations strategically located in Wisconsin. In operation since 1959, AgSource has more than 45 years of experience in the business of analyzing milk and milk products for payment and herd management purposes. Working with an independent, third party service provider increases credibility with your patrons, and no one has more credibility with producers than AgSource. Each year, the AgSource Food and Environmental Laboratories conduct more than one million payment tests. In addition, over 4.3 million individual cow samples are tested by our DHI Laboratory making AgSource one of the largest milk testing service providers in the United States.
Customer Service
In order to get your samples to the laboratory as quickly as possible and in the best possible condition, AgSource operates a fleet of transportation vans and professional courier services. All milk components and somatic cell tests are conducted within 24 hours of arrival at the laboratory.
Convenient
After the analysis is complete, we work with clients to provide the most convenient access to information. Through electronic data retrieval, test results are available in a timely and convenient manner. Results may be faxed, e-mailed or transmitted directly to your computer. They also can be accessed at your convenience directly through the Web site. Since test results are posted on our Web site daily, clients and patrons easily can download the most up-to-date herd management information.
Certified
The laboratory is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR), Wisconsin Department of Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection (WDATCP) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
We also participate in various check sample programs.
