New Udder Health Management Summary

UHM-small.jpg
Brand New - January 1, 2008!

When AgSource updated its popular Udder Health Management Summary, and Cow List, they didn't just move some numbers around and change the appearance. Working with their partners from the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison and its Food Animal Production Medicine Team led by Dr. Nigel Cook and Dr. Ken Nordlund, the new UHM Summary and Cow Report meets the goals of providing AgSource members the capability to:

  • Identify most at risk segments of the herd to aid in developing effective preventive strategies
  • Monitor the results of protocols to cure the previous month's new infections
  • Decide which cows are the best candidates for removal
  • Identify candidates for culturing

All AgSource members will receive this exciting new UHM Package  at no charge starting January1, 2008 for a three month trial period. Members presently on a UHM report option will continue receiving their old reports during this period. After April 1, they can continue with either or discontinue the optional reports.
