AGSOURCE RECOGNIZES PRODUCTION AWARD WINNERS AT STATE FAIR

West Allis, Wis. - During the Wisconsin State Fair, junior exhibitors with outstanding production records were recognized for their excellence.  The awards recognized the top producing cow according to cheese yield, with an overall winner in each breed.  The award is sponsored by AgSource Cooperative Services. 

             Kaila Wussow from Shawano County was the winner of the Jersey category with her 5 year old cow, Michael Centurion Darla.  Ryan Steinhoff from Monroe County took the honors in the Holstein category with his Dry Cow 3 and over, Gateway-Acres Atro Icicle. The top producing Brown Swiss was exhibited by Seth Nehls, Dodge County, with Seths Pre Pretty Women, a 4 year old cow.  Kimberly Lake, Trempealeau County, had highest producing Guernsey with 4 year old Prairie Cream Tiller Abigail-ET. Winning the Milking Shorthorn category was Annie Damrow, Dodge County, exhibiting Easter Brook Lee Bonnet.
