NORTH WEST LABS TO OFFER PREGNANCY TESTS

JEROME, Idaho-   North West Labs has added BioPRYN® blood pregnancy testing to its service offerings.  Through the use of this quick response test, North West Labs will be able to strengthen the management information provided to dairy and beef producers.    

            BioPRYN is a convenient, safe and accurate pregnancy detection tool of dairy and beef cattle.  The blood-based test is embryo-safe and can detect pregnancy as early as 30 days post-breeding.  The test uses an ELISA to locate the presence of Pregnancy Specific Protein B (PSPB.)   Results are available in 27 hours from the lab.  The BioPRYN test will be made available nationwide through AgSource, Genex and Central Livestock, all subsidiaries of Cooperative Resources International (CRI).
