Rock Creek Market Grand Opening

Central Livestock Association celebrated its Grand Opening of the Rock Creek market on October 15, 2008 with a special feeder cattle and bred cow sale. The market opened for business in July 2008, and has been off to a great start. The full house of spectators received refreshments and door prizes from Central Livestock and Heidelberger's Rock Creek café. Real-Tuff also had an exhibit of their livestock handling equipment. Customer attendance at the Grand Opening and weekly sales has remained strong. Weekly cattle auctions are every Monday, with hogs, sheep and goats every Monday and Wednesday.
