AgSource Announces Scholarship Recipients

Dodgeville, Wis. -  Iowa County AgSource DHI Foundation Scholarships were presented to seven deserving dairy youth at an appreciation banquet for Southern Region Dairy Herd Improvement members, held March 9 at the Dodger Bowl in Dodgeville, Wis. Each scholarship recipient will receive $500 toward his or her college tuition. The following students accepted DHI Foundation Fund scholarship certificates:

Jake Brokish, Dodgeville, Wis.
Kari Brokish, Dodgeville, Wis.
Nathan Limmex, Spring Green, Wis.
Tiffany Limmex, Spring Green, Wis.
Kyle Nankey, Highland, Wis.
Charles Richards, Linden, Wis.
Jaynie Rule, Dodgeville, Wis.

Jake Brokish is the son of Mike and Sherry Brokish and a graduate of Dodgeville High School. Jake is currently attending UW-Platteville where he is pursuing a degree in Ag Business. Jake plans to return to his family's farm after graduation and become the next generation to own and manage it.
Kari Brokish, daughter of Mike and Sherry Brokish, is a senior at Dodgeville High School. She will be attending Southwest Tech this fall majoring in Early Childhood and Special Education. Upon completing that program, she plans to attend either UW-Platteville or UW-Stevens Point to pursue a degree in Early Childhood.
Nathan Limmex is the son of Phil and Cheryl Limmex of Spring Green. A River Valley High School graduate, he will graduate from UW-Richland this spring and continue his education at UW-Platteville, pursuing a degree in Integrated Supply Chain Management.
Tiffany Limmex is the daughter of Phil and Cheryl Limmex of Spring Green and a senior at River Valley High School. Tiffany plans to attend UW-Eau Claire in the fall to study pre-med with the intent to apply to Medical School.
Kyle Nankey is the son of Larry and Lois Nankey and a senior at Highland High School. He plans to attend Maranatha Baptist University this fall to obtain a degree in Accounting. He hopes to return to his family's farm and help manage the financial aspects of it.
Charles Richards is the son of Chris and Janice Richards of Linden and a senior at Iowa-Grant High School. Charles plans to attend UW-Platteville this fall and major in Agribusiness.

Jaynie Rule is the daughter of Randy and Tammy Rule of Dodgeville and a senior Iowa-Grant High School. Jaynie is pursuing a degree in Agribusiness with possible minors in Dairy Science, Journalism or Communications at UW-Platteville this fall.
